Buhari, Visiting Leaders Had Dinner Ahead Of Democracy Day

The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari hosted world leaders at a dinner last night in Abuja, ahead of the democracy day.

The dinner was held at the presidential Villa, Abuja with the presence of the vice president, professor Yemi Osibanjo, the elected senate president Ahmed Lawan, the newly elected Speaker of the House of representative, Mr Femi Gbajabiamila and some former heads of state were present.

The world leaders from Liberia, Rwanda, Gambia, Niger, Congo, Ghana, Chad, Uganda, Senegal Mauritania and Italy were present at the dinner.

Speaking at the event, Boss Mustapha who is the former secretary to the government of the federation said, the celebration was unique coming just a day after the inauguration of the ninth national assembly.
