Senator Shehu Sani has slammed President Muhammadu Buhari over his statements to lift 100 million Nigerians out of poverty in 10 years.
He said this in his tweet that the people need to be lifted out of banditry before the talk to take them out of poverty.
He rubbishes the president statement saying, the masses have what it takes to lead themselves out of poverty only if they have a peaceful environment.
He further tweeted saying all the mass needs now is to be safe and be freed out of banditry, herdsman, kidnapping and killing.
President Muhammadu Buhari has earlier stated during his inaugural speech at the democracy day celebration on June 12 in Abuja that he is prepared to take 100 million Nigerians out of poverty to prosperity.
