About 23 Nigerians have been sentenced to death for drug trafficking in Saudi Arabia.
The Saudi Arabian government disclosed this on Saturday.
It was gathered that these convicts were nabbed at the King Abdul-Aziz International Airport, Jeddah, and Prince Muhammad Bin Abdu-Aziz International Airport, Madinah in 2016 and 2017.
They were caught with narcotic substance in their body (rectum), which goes against the rules of the country and the punishment for such crime is death.
Lots of Nigerians has been reportedly executed for drug trafficking in Indonesia, India, Singapore, Malaysia and Saudi Arabia.
