In a statement released by FIFA, the probing of Siasia started and became so serious when Wilson Raj Perumal admitted that they were involved in a match-fixing.
The probe which started in February, according to the statement, revealed that “he was found guilty as charged of receiving a bribe to fix a match which is contrary and against the rule of FIFA code of ethics.”
He was also fined for 50,000 Swiss francs, $50,000, 46,000 euros.
