Senator Dino Melaye, the senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria representing Kogi West, has debunked the rumour that he’s considering serving as the deputy governor to Captain Idris Wada, who is Kogi state former governor.
He said the rumour was to frustrate him from contesting for the governorship (primary) poll under the umbrella of the Peoples Democratic Party in the September 3.

According to the statement he released through his media aide, he said, Capt. Idris Wada lost the just concluded election as the incumbent governor, and it is justifiable for a senator like Dino Melaye, someone with great potential and strong innovation to be behind another person.
