After 25 days of unlawful detention, Omoyele Sowore will appear at the federal high court in Abuja to present his motion before the sitting judge to defend his illegal detention by the Department of State Service (DSS).
On August 9th, he queried the court order to have him detained for 45 days, which he referred to as unjust.
In his motion to be heard today, he requested that the high court neglect the order that detains him for 45 days.
Despite filing a case, the court lingered in giving a date to hear his motion, which prompted his lawyer, Femi Falana, to approach the court during one if it’s sitting to get a date fix.
The sitting judge then appealed to him to exercise patience.
