The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari has break silence over the attack on Nigerians by South Africans in Johannesburg.
He, therefore, ordered some delegates to meet with the South Africa president and show his bitterness over the xenophobic attacks on his countrymen in South Africa.
According to a report gathered from the capital of the country, the delegates are expected to leave Nigeria and arrive Pretoria by Thursday.
The name of the delegates wasn’t disclosed, but the report has it that the speaker of the house of representatives, Mr Femi has cancelled his trip to Tanzania and reconvene to discuss the attacks.
The President was unhappy at the report of attacks on Nigerian citizens and the destruction of properties in South Africa since August 29, 2019.
The President has also summoned the minister of Foreign affairs, Mr Geoffrey Onyeama, to have an emergency in a meeting to discuss and find solutions to the attack, as well as guarantee the safety of Nigerians in the diaspora.
