Donald Duke, former governor of Cross River State, has regained access to his property in Ikoyi after paying his N537.3m debts.
Following his payment, the Federal High Court sitting in Lagos ruled out the order granting the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria, AMCON to seize his goods.
Mrs Juliet Benson, a staff of AMCON, notify the court that Mr Donald Duke had accomplished the conditions of the agreement of the debt and they have both come to a resolution.
Edoigiawerie Uyi who is the counsel to the former governor attest to the court that his client has expressed good conduct by well paying the debts of over N350m in clearing the outstanding debt, as agreed by both parties.
The judge made the ruling in a short time, discharging the other that holds the case after granting the terms of the settlement and entered it as full and final judgement.
