The Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra has condemned the aides of President Muhammadu Buhari for frustrating the vice president, prof. Yemi Osinbajo over the recent sacking as the economic team chairman.
Massob queried the ‘questionable measures’ against the vice president by the “frivolous Fulani cliques controlling the affairs of the President” were seen as a means to depreciates Christians in the country.
The group said in a statement referring to Buhari silence as been hypocritical.
“The unconstitutional removal of Prof. Yemi Osibanjo’s portfolio linked to the office of the Vice President of the Federation is evident persecution of Christians in high cadres of this administration led by President Mohammed Buhari.
“On Monday, September 16, 2019, Prof Yemi Osibanjo was sacked unjustly as Head of the Statutory National Economic Council. The following day, Tuesday, September 17, some of the agencies and other ministerial departments in his jurisdiction were directed to report to Mr President directly.
“The following hour, almost all his aides were told to evacuate the Aso rock. MASSOB views all these subjective frustrations as a payback time to Prof. Yemi Osibanjo by unrepentant and unforgiving cabals that have vowed to fulfil the commandments of their forefathers.”
