Prior to the recommendation to honour the Air Peace airline boss to the federal government by the house of representatives, a member of the parliament, Dr Ajibola Muraina (PDP-Oyo), suggest to the house that they give N100,000 each to cabin crew of Air Peace Airline who took in airlifting stranded Nigerians from South Africa.
The PDP representative praised his colleagues towards the decision to honour chairman of the Airline, Allen Onyema, for his support.
Nursing stated that the pilots, as well as the crew members, emulated their boss by not receiving their allowances, giving it as a service to the country growth.
The legislator was quick to say the good deed of Onyema and his staff should revive the kind gesture of Nigerians all over the world.
The lawmaker said, “the conduct of Onyema should be seen as a clarion call on all rich Nigerians to be selfless, willing and ready at all times to assist fellow countrymen.”
