Samson Siasia former Super Eagles coach and the winger has had a reason to smile after his mother who had been in the nest of kidnappers for over two months was released by her kidnappers.
Her freedom barely two months after she was kidnapped in her home town in Odoni community, Sagbama Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.
The Bayelsa State Police Command spokesman, DSP Asinim Butswat, disclosed the news as well as her relative, Pinaowor Siasia, also attest to her release.
As at the time of reporting, she has been taken to the hospital for medical checks.
Siasia, who is currently facing a life ban by the sport’s world governing body FIFA after its ethics panel found him guilty of taking bribes in connection to match-fixing would be hoping to come out of this as well.
