Mercy has fought so hard through the course of the competition to become the winner (first female) of the Big Brother Naija reality show for season 4.
Ebuka-Obi Uchendu, the host of the show, made the announcement of the winner on Sunday evening which caused an excited roar from joyous supporters.
Mercy had forty-one per cent votes while Mike had 19 per cent, which makes her clinch the winner of the competition.
240million was the total votes cast during the BBNaija season 4, in the final week, there were over 50million votes.
Ebuka Obi-Uchendu (@Ebuka) wrote on his official twitter handle, “Lord have Mercy!!! What a season you had. Congratulations Mercy!!!#BBNaija”
The reality show started with 26 housemates, however, Mercy, Seyi, Omashola and Frodd were able to reach the finals as they fight for the grand price of 60 million Naira of the PepperDem edition.
It had been an amazing and mouthwatering 90 days as each housemate were served their own portion of ‘pepper’.
Scaling from subsequent fights, drama and arguments, to the tasking arena games, Friday night parties, visits from celebrity and shocking evictions.
The reality without no shadow of doubt dished out enough pepper and spice that regularly ignite conversations among Nigerians, mostly on social media.
One of the heaviest spotlights was the surprise eviction of Natacha Akida, mostly called as Tacha.
The 23-year-old lady from Port Harcourt who was one of the most controversial housemates of the season and a top contender was disqualified after she and another housemate, Mercy (the eventual winner) had a fight.
In the long run, the PepperDem season came to an end officially today and many Nigerians will miss the reality show …until when the next season starts.
