Michael Ajereh, popularly called Don Jazzy, a renewed Nigerian record producer and entrepreneur, is marking a year of not smoking cigarettes.
The Mavin record founder stopped smoking about a year ago after engaging in the habit for years, wrote on his Twitter handle @DONJAZZY to disclose that he has held to his promise.
He tweeted, “Today makes it one year since I quit smoking. Clap for me please,”
“I just stopped like that o. Cold turkey. Tho I started overeating sha. After like two months you will be alright.”, he responded to a fan who asked how he did that.
His testimony generated over 21,000 likes and three thousand retweets.
In response to the decision of Don Jazzy, Nigerian popular musician, David Adeleke mostly called Davido has also vowed to end smoking soon.
Davido announced this via a short video of himself on his Instagram handle shortly after arriving the city of Los Angeles, California in the USA, holding with him a pack of Malboro cigarettes with the caption, ‘Quitting soon’.
He made this known after Don Jazzy celebrated a year of not smoking with excitement.
