The Super Eagles of Nigeria have been ranked as the second youngest national team in the World. These statistics were revealed by the Transfer market.

The average age of Super Eagles player is 24.1, and they are behind Mexico, whose team averages 23.5.

The Nigeria national team have Maduka Okoye, Samuel Chukwueze, Francis Uzoho, and Victor Osimhen, who are just 20 years of age among other players who are currently in their early 20s. England takes third place with an average age of 25.0.

Meanwhile, other countries that make the top 10 are USA (25.2), Wales (25.3), Tunisia (25.5), Germany (25.6), Brazil (25.7), Argentina (26.0) and Italy (26.1).

Head coach, Gernot Rohr, also agreed that current Super Eagles squad has been the youngest team he has ever coached and he believes there’s a great future for the team who are looking good.

His standby captain, William Troost-Ekong, also shared his thoughts, adding that, he’s confident with the future of the team.
