England’s Ross Barkley and Raheem Sterling both net a brace as Nigeria born striker Tammy Abraham were on the bench on Monday night, October 14, during the England’s whitewashing 6-0 win over Bulgaria in Euro 2020 qualifiers.
Following his featuring for just three minutes during England’s last game against the Czech Republic, Tammy Abraham hope of getting a chance against Bulgaria was dashed as he was benched throughout the game.
However, the game between Bulgaria and England was disturbed with racial abuse for the English players, which caused a stop on the match twice.
Tammy Abraham had publicly confessed that his dream had always been to play for England, his country birth at the highest level.
The 21 years old Chelsea striker has been tried to be convinced to switch allegiance to Nigeria, but he was keen to join Gareth Southgate’s squad till he was called up.
