Buhari Discharge And Acquit Pinnick, Others of Alleged $8.4m Fraud

The corruption charges probed against the president of the Nigeria Football Federation, Amaju Pinnick and four other members of the board has been withdrawn by the acclaimed ‘war against corruption’ Buhari led administration

The Federal High Court in Abuja led by Justice Ijeoma Ojukwu has discharged and acquitted NFF president, Pinnick, NFFsecretary, Sunusi Mohammed; the 1st Vice-President, Seyi Akinwumi; the 2nd Vice-President, Shehu Dikko and an Executive member, Yusuff Fresh.

She revealed that she got a letter from the office of the Attorney General and Minister of Justice to withdraw the charges filed before the court by the dissolved Special Presidential and Investigation Panel.

The Pinnick and his board were accused of misappropriation of N4 billion without the approval of the NFF.
