Muyiwa Ademola was born on the 26th of January 1971. He is a Nigerian Nollywood actor, film-maker, film producer and director. One of his movie ORI (Fate) in 2005 won the best indigenous film at the 1st Africa Movie Academy Awards.

In 2008, he got nominated for the 4th Africa Movie Academy Awards for Most Outstanding Indigenous Actor.

Early Life

Muyiwa was in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital. He went to St. David’s High School at Molete in Ibadan where he got his West Africa Secondary School Certificate before moving to the University of Ibadan where he bagged a Bachelor of Education degree in Adult education

Career

He’s an award-winning Nollywood Yoruba actor, film-maker, producer, and director. Popularly known by his fans as MUY Authentic, Muyiwa Ademola is also the brand ambassador of several companies. He is the CEO of the Authentic School of Drama and Film Production.

He joined the Nigerian film industry through Charles Olumo aka Agbako who reside in his hometown, Abeokuta. Then met a movie director called S.I Ola who trained him acting and movie production.

He started his acting career fully in 1991. In 1995, he produced his first ever written script into a movie titled Asise meaning BLUNDER in English. The production was sponsored by Dibel who deals in generating sets.

Since 1995, he has produced, directed and featured in lots of Yoruba Nollywood movies. It was reported on January 2013 that he was involved in a fatal accident, which almost resulted in his death.
