“If You Want To Destroy Any Country In The World, Don’t Use An Atomic Bomb, Put President Buhari” — Sowore

Omoyele Sowore has criticised President Muhammadu Buhari yet again over the current situation of the country.

Sowore, who’s a human right activist and a pro-democracy campaigner and formal presidential candidate in the 2019 general election stated on his social media platforms that President Buhari can be used to replace an atomic bomb in destroying any country in the world.

He stated further that when President Buhari is put in charge of any country within six months, nothing would be left unruined in the country.

On August 2, 2019, Sowore made a series of public statements calling for peaceful revolution, including for country-wide demonstrations on August 5 under the tagline #RevolutionNow, Sowore was arrested and detained.

After Sowore was granted a frivolous bail, he has been restrained to a city arrest in the country’s capital city Abuja by the federal government, particularly the Department of State Services (DSS). They have repeatedly violated his due fundamentally rights, among others.

Sowore’s tweet reads;
