Bandits Kidnap Students In Niger State As Police, Army Continue To Search For Unarmed Protesters

Bandits have invaded Government Science Secondary School in Kagara, Rafi Local Government Area of Niger State, abducting a yet to be known number of staff members and students, killing one student in the process.

The latest incident comes barely two months after bandits invaded Government Science Secondary School, Kankara, Katsina State, kidnapping over 300 students. The students were later released after the Buhari Dictatorship paid ransoms to the criminals.

Since taking over power, the Buhari Dictatorship has failed to guarantee the safety of the Nigerian people on their own soil, which is the primary purpose of government as provided under section 14b of Nigeria’s Constitution, saying:

14(b) “The security and welfare of the people shall be the primary purpose of government.”

Well-armed police officers deployed to the Lekki Tollgate to “fight” peaceful protesters whilst criminals roam about unchallenged

The regime only displays its enormous “strength” on peaceful protesters as witnessed on August 5, 2019 during the #RevolutionNow peaceful protest, the Lekki Massacre of October 20, 2020 which involved the killing of peaceful protesters by Nigerian soldiers for demanding an end to police brutality.

When the #OccupyLekkiTollGate protests were announced recently, the Buhari Dictatorship emptied Nigerian barracks and relocated them to the Lekki Tollgate to harass, brutalise, dehumanise and even kill peaceful protesters for exercising their fundamental human rights which Buhari deceptively swore to uphold in 2015 and 2019.

Debo Macaroni, a comedian and activist was illegally arrested along with 39 other Nigerians on February 13, 2021 for insisting on the exercise of their constitutional rights during the #OccupyLekkiTollGate protest. Upon his release from illegal detention, the comedian recounted his ordeal whilst in police custody, saying that they were thoroughly beaten and told that they would have been killed if they had been arrested at night. As it is customary with the Buhari Dictatorship, they were later arraigned on trumped-up charges.

On the contrary, kidnappers, Boko Haram, Armed Robbers attack and kill Nigerians without consequences, and most times ransoms are paid by the Nigerian Government. The irony is jaw-dropping.
